5 Frequently Asked Roofing Questions (FAQs)

My roof leaks, what should I do?

If your roof is leaking we advise that you stay off your roof. Our employees are trained, seasoned roof technicians with OSHA certifications who can safely evaluate your roof and provide corrective measures that will generate long term results.

My roof has little or no ventilation. What do I do?

Metal roofs are often under ventilated causing improper air flow and ice dams at eave edges. Using Thermal-Tec’s MR Multi-Ply® Roof System we will install the proper amount of vents to enhance the flow of air in your building and provide a good source of oxygen to your heating units in winter months.

What weather conditions are a factor when installing my roof?

Any roofing system that cannot be installed year round or is prohibited by temperatures below 40 degrees should not be considered if you’re looking for a 10-year warranted roof. Weather always affects how your roof performs. Using Thermal-Tec’s MR Multi-Ply® Roof System we install a solvent-based roof system that can be installed year round, and can also be serviced year round.

What affects your roof system?

Your roof is affected by many environmental factors; acid rain, wind, hail, sun, snow loads, and rapid temperature changes, but also the production procedure used within your facility can greatly reduce your roof’s long-term performance. Furnace operations, heat generated in the building, cutting fluids, and production vapors all attack your roof. Using Thermal-Tec’s MR Multi-Ply® Roof System will protect your facility against these factors for years to come.

What kind of warranty do you offer?

Your investment in our Thermal-Tec’s MR Multi-Ply® Roof System is protected by an outstanding warranty program.
